Greetings!

You are on this page because you or someone you know is interested in learning to play music. Learning music is a journey, and that journey creates new pathways in your brain regardless of your age.

New research suggests that regularly playing an instrument changes the shape and power of the brain. It can even increase IQ by seven points in both children and adults, according to researchers. Music is a wonderful tool to help with self discovery and self-discipline. That’s not why we want to learn though. It’s because music is fun and this can all happen while having a good time.

When I was much younger and starting to learn how to play the saxophone, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who understood the most important things about music—that it can be fun and comes easier with a smile on your face.

I am a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, and have been teaching for over 20 years. I teach voice, drums, guitar, bass, piano, songwriting, recording, and production. Lesson are in person or video call.
